*UPDATE*

The patch for xbox 360 is out and people are saying it is much better. The controls and everything have changed the way the car drives and handles etc. So once we get the PSN patch the leauge will resume and we can get it started.


One thing MAJOR thing to note with the new patch if your router isnt setup correctly most likely you wont be able to race anymore. The reason being is for lag, if your connection isnt good or strict they will remove you from the lobby. This is something they implemented to make the races work better. SO best thing to do is check it now since you have a few days to figure it out. If you think yours is all good you would be surprised its probably not. Easy way to tell if you have Black Ops and you join a lobby with a friend it tells you in red in the bottom right corner that one or more of you have a strict setting or it says you dont. Meaning an internal firewall in the router. Easy fix make your PS3 a DMZ host in your router and put your ps3 on a static ip address. Dont know what im talking about or how to do it? Youtube is your friend and you might have to do a little searching to find exactly how to access your specific brand router. There is a thread HERE that may help a little finding the exact ports to open. This video below explains it good also.

*LEAGUE INFO*

Official RacingMafia.com NASCAR the game league.

We are going to run the full season half 50% 2 set days a week. This will be more geared towards 10pm-??? est time. This is going to be 36 races and run over a 4 1/2 month period. I need and only want dedicated people. There will be a prize at the end of the season to the winner a custom car design request and there will be a file for a special RacingMafia.com League Champion car. Plus this isnt something that can be accomplished easily so there will be some bragging rights lol.

Race Schedule:
Sunday-Tuesday (practice/qualifying for Wednesday race)
Wednesday 10pm EST Race Day
Thursday-Friday (practice/qualifying for Saturday race)
Saturday 10pm EST Race Day

POINTS
-Same points system as Nascar 1-(14? however many drivers we have total)

CAUTIONS
-Run no game controlled cautions (if there is a wreck with more then one car we will hold our own caution and then you will have the chance to pit and even race off pit lane for position).

PRACTICE/QUALIFY
-One night could be the qualifying/test tune to qualify for the starting order (your fastest lap time at the end of the session will determine your starting place). The next scheduled night will be the Main even race where points will be awarded.

If you are in the league please add "theoneandonly166" he is running the league with me and will be able to get you qualified so we can get this started. Also he will be able to set up a room and do the practices and stuff as well. On the practice days I may or might not be racing those days but he will. I would like to get this started asap.


OUR UNIQUE STARTING METHOD
-Lap one we start off the race, we all go into the pits without crashing, setup the cars, come out and hold positions until all drivers are ready. You will already know your starting order from the night before qualifying/test and tune results. If there is no pace car then we will have to use our best judgment as to starting, It will be counted down to give fair warning to all drivers.



-DRIVERS-
If I have never raced with you before please add me and we can do some racing to check your driving ability CAPPA_McNASTY (I dont race every night so dont get discouraged if im playing another game). I just want to make sure everyone is on the same level with driving quality and style.

OK updated. Everyone that wants to race that I havent raced with before needs to get with me and race a night so I can make sure we are all on the same page with driving.

On the way of the Racing Season I have had some good ideas that ill post up with an update of the season rules. We had alot of good racing tonight and picked up 2 really good drivers that want to race. Competition is going to be good.
