League update/patch info

The patch for xbox 360 is out and people are saying it is much better. The controls and everything have changed the way the car drives and handles etc. So once we get the PSN patch the leauge will resume and we can get it started.


One thing MAJOR thing to note with the new patch if your router isnt setup correctly most likely you wont be able to race anymore. The reason being is for lag, if your connection isnt good or strict they will remove you from the lobby. This is something they implemented to make the races work better. SO best thing to do is check it now since you have a few days to figure it out. If you think yours is all good you would be surprised its probably not. Easy way to tell if you have Black Ops and you join a lobby with a friend it tells you in red in the bottom right corner that one or more of you have a strict setting or it says you dont. Meaning an internal firewall in the router. Easy fix make your PS3 a DMZ host in your router and put your ps3 on a static ip address. Dont know what im talking about or how to do it? Youtube is your friend and you might have to do a little searching to find exactly how to access your specific brand router. There is a thread HERE that may help a little finding the exact ports to open. This video below explains it good also.
