i have a question about the whole port forwarding thing. If my PS3 says it's NAT2, do i still need to go into my router and do all this port forwarding stuff? I mean i can get on line and race but of course every few races or so it will just sit there and load or lock up like it does with everyone else.

yours will still work fine the way smoke posted is if your having serious lag or issues and need to try and fix it. I have mine set up like that but I also have a extremely fast connection

Ok cool I have a 12 meg connection with my at&t uverse. I was just curious if I needed to go in and open those ports also. I opened them but when I check it with port checker it says those ports aren't open, so I just said screw it and put it back like it was. I don't wanna be the douche that hoses every one else up. Thanks dude.
